Perfect video teaching you how to swaddle your baby. I can’t even guess how many times I did this as a labor and delivery nurse, but I do still remember how excited I was the day I learned “the swaddle.” It’s a great thing to know and so important for newborns who need to feel safe and secure.

Explanation of why results of studies on circumcision and HIV transmission rates in Africa cannot be generalized, and flaws with the circumcision research and its interpretation.

My editorial comment: All of that aside, the belief that baby boys come into this world with a birth defect that requires surgical removal of part of their bodies is just completely bizarre to me. I hope for a day when male circumcision is seen the same way that much of the world views female circumcision, as a human rights issue. I personally see no difference and think we all come into this world as we’re meant to be.

This is a very informative video that I highly recommend. There are so many social and medical myths about circumcision that it takes extra due diligence to truly consider this surgical procedure.
